Learn from Underground 2
First let me say that this game was really awesome, and definitely a step in the right direction, but it was still a little off. I've talked to a lot of people who've played the game, and they all seem to suggest the same things. Basically, we want an Underground 3.
1) FIX THE PHYSICS
This was the thing I was most frustrated with in this game was the way the cars handled. You're forced to duff around almost every corner to keep up with the competition, and it's incredibly annoying especially at high speeds. Most people prefer the physics you used in Underground 2 or the original Most Wanted, it was the perfect balance between realism and arcade.
2) CUSTOMIZATION
This game was absolutely phenomenal with the customization options, I loved all of the body kits and the decal editor. However, most people feel like a lot of cars are lacking options. In Underground 2, you could change just about anything in the car, from neon lights (underglow, engine, and trunk) to vertical doors to sound systems and a LOT of body kit options. Period still play Underground 2 to this day because of all the customization options you had in it. But in the new game, people will go through all the customization options and get kind of bored because you're so limited.
3)FREE CUSTOMIZING MODE
In Underground 2, you were only allowed 5 cars in career mode, but that was okay because you had an option to customize any car for free outside of the career. I spent hours going through every car and customizing everything about it, and had a blast doing it! In the new need for speed, you might have 10 slots for cars, but it takes so long to earn money that it's not worth it. You need an option outside of career mode where people could just customize cars for fun with no money restrictions.
4) TUNING
The physics need fixed first before this is an issue, but I would still like to bring it up. In Underground 2, you could take any car to the dyno and tune everything from the gear ratios to suspension to the ecu, and it actually worked correctly. People would love the ability to tune their cars to that extent again, and then have a physics engine that would properly show the tune.
5) OFFLINE MULTIPLAYER
I play the new need for speed all the time, but it's annoying that when I'm playing with my friend, we have to take turns because it's a single player game. Many people would love a 2 player splitscreen option (or even 4 player if the console could support it). This would go along with the free customizing mode that I listed above.
6) OFFLINE PLAYING
It's the worst thing ever when I'm doing really well in a career race, almost to the finish, when BAM another player online rams me head on causing me to lose the race. People DON'T WANT to be online all the time, it's actually incredibly annoying. If the internet is down, I want to be able to play the game, I feel like this shouldn't even be an issue. Also because there are so many people on the map at once, the police are an absolute joke. Which brings me to my next point
7) POLICE CHASES
I've never once had a fun police chase in this game, I've actually had to cruise at 70mph one time to complete an outlaw mission and I still almost evaded. It would be fantastic to see the same cops from the original Most Wanted again, those were honestly the only fun police chases I've ever had in a game. Carbon wasn't as hard, and the new most wanted was too ridiculous. What I mean is I'd be going 250mph+ in a race and a police car would CATCH ME and PASS ME. I know police cars are supposed to be fast, but that was just ridiculous.
Those are really the main things I would change about the game. I know you can't really change the physics of this game now, but these are more suggestions for your next game. Just an FYI, you'd be very surprised with how well Underground 3 would sell *hint hint*
