Upon completing the event all my parts got converted to regular Epic parts as expected and I got a new event Viva L'Italia was unlocked. I get to the last race in this car series and it requires a 945 car to complete it - that is 98 more PR than my current Huracan has and here-in lies the problem.
Hello, I only found this a bit old topic by accident. You did quite some work during Lamborghini Academia to get your car past 800 mark... for me it was the first special event ever, so I was quite happy to get 735 out of it, and now have like 765, since I stopped upgrading it when I got another better car. I got stuck in Viva L'Italia at the end of chapter 4, where it requires 847 out of the blue.
Anyway, is the event requirement really 945PR? That would render the race unplayable, since there is no car that can reach that high PR - according to Wiki, Huracan can only be upgraded to PR 941, while the other car for the serie, F40, is even weaker, its maximum is 876 PR (and anyway, it won't have any sense to get its blueprints as a series reward, anyway).
Guess they made the Viva L'Italia series a bit in a hurry :-/
There were several races labeled Hunter, where you had one or two adversaries, but aligned with you on a starting grid, once there was a race without an opponent, if I remember correctly, huge jumps in required PR between races, and unplayable last race as a bonus...
