Logitech driving force gt

Just bought the PC version via steam.

Configuration screen showed my steering wheel. Tried to enter the command bindings.

Could only select a single fs thingy with arrowhead at top and bottom for each input/command.

Save settings.

Now my game is useless. It shows the fs thingy for all actions even in the startup menu, so I'm unable to reach any part of the game.

How do I get my game working again, and what do I need to do to get my steering wheel working?
