Lost progress when upgrading to ps5

I had a ton of cars and money over 100 odd hours spent on the game and when I upgraded my console I made sure the saved data was ok and in the cloud when I went to get my saved data on ps5 it’s no where to be seen and I just lost over 100 hours worth of work any helps appreciate
