Missed Event Cars

I'm not sure if this had been discussed before, but what happened to late starters who had missed all those previous special events? Do we get a chance to win those cars again?

  • @iRYOnick I think someone has asked this question and I'm afraid not. You will only be able to get the cars from the point you started.

What with "hoonican" cars? There are needed to Car Series.

@DuDaX16 well that sure sucks, in my opinion.. I first started the game when they had the snoop dogg Mustang on. Then I somehow stopped playing for awhile due to tedious massive grinding for the upgrade parts. Few days ago I reset the game hoping to play again with better planning ahead though.. If what you said is what the developers planned to do, then it really sucks.

Makes no sense, I am missing the Shelby GT 500, they should allow other chances to get cars. And not against payment either.

Sure sucks, that's true. The Hoonicorn is the Mustang from Ken Block. It was a special event. The problem is that they don't make BP available for the other cars in the garage (even if they were special event only).

@iRYOnick The people that started playing No Limits after specific special events had lost their chance of getting those exclusive cars.

Maybe those special event cars could come back to be earned or won in the future. Who knows.... 😉

@HomelessPL The Hoonigan cars are special event cars and limited-time cars. There are two Hoonigan cars.

Ford Mustang Hoonicorn - Can only be won in the Xtreme Racing Championship special event

Ford Fiesta ST (Ken Block) - Can only be bought in the store as a limited-time offer

If you don't have one of these cars, then it's impossible for you to do the Hoonigan Car Series.

@DuDaX16 @TheRealJony well if there's any moderator from EA reading all these posts, I hope they can make past events playable again in another type of race events or something like that. I'm pretty sure most of the players are fans of NFS or a real car fanatic themselves and would like to unlock as many cars as they could in the game and make the best out of it. The thought of the limitations of the cars even though the name of the game is No Limits, totally making no sense.

And the extra grinding day and night for upgrade parts are absolutely crazy.. I've been playing every 2 hours or so for a week now. But still at level 32 because I can't get upgrade parts to run more races.

@iRYOnick the problem here is making EA understand what we want. If the majority of players ask for something that could be enough for EA to give it to us, the problem is to know what the majority wants. I would love to be able to try and get blueprints from crates, normal or premium of every single car so far. For example, the only special event car I'm missing is the Snoop Dogg Shelby Mustang, and the other special event cars are missing stars. It's super annoying.

    Same issue here exactly.

I share your thoughts. It sure is annoying when you cannot complete the game. When the game first launched, I thought this was the best racing game I've ever downloaded. I enjoyed modifying my cars more than the races though. What thrill can you expect from a 30s to 1min race? And there's only 10 fuel to run maybe 3 to 10 races every 90mins? I'm sure players will start ranting at the limits they have set up on the so called "No Limits" game. But thinking as the developers, you probably just want to extend the likelihood of players playing for months just to unlock a certain car or part. They probably do not care about some of the ideas we shared and sincerely hope they put into consideration when updating the game. Thus pissing some players and rage quitting.

I first played nfs underground on my ps2 couple of years back and that was a great game. Everything complete within a disc and no dlc, expansion or updates needed. But EA seems to function differently now. Making the beta as a bait to hook players on and slowly feeding updates and making changes now and then to the game to make it "better" or just prolonging its lifespan.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending them. But just being neutral and thinking logically. Just gotta suck it up that the game is as it is. Like it or not the there's always the option to delete the game.
