My game does not work, Need for speed rivals.

The game need for speed rivals is not opening (last week was worked normally), it closes and reports that the game stopped working, with the following error: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: ...

I have the same issue, game crashes after start, no video, just black screen and crash.

 I tried to disable Origin in game - no difference.

What is your Operating System plamistad18?

In the meantime try the following suggestion:

Most of the time missing Dll errors are related to Visual C++

 

Simply install (or reinstall) Microsoft Visual C++ by using the program in the game folder by default the application is located here:   C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Need for Speed(TM) Rivals\__Installer\vc\vc2012Update1\redist

 

Note: your windows user account needs the administrator rights.

If the issue persists, try ruining both programs as suggested here.
