My apologies. Yes I confirm I have defaulted through Nvidia Control Panel to launch with the 2070. You can access the Dxdiag now.

Repairing or reinstalling did not work.
FIXED UP. I simply installed Origin (old installer, for PC) and, even though I didn't open the game through it, EaApp started opening the game normally. It's bizarre, but it worked for me. So I uninstalled Origin to test and it continued to work. I hope this works for you too.
