@TheRealJonyYes, online only for 2015 was a major set back. I was talking in terms of cars and customization. The cars were either hars to turn or easy to drift which was a huge set back for the game. I still think 2015 is a good foundation for future NFS games.
As far as Payback goes with the online issue you mentioned, I've never had an issue. It would just tell me to sign in online to access the store. The lootboxes I understand from a business standpoint as the prices of games are flat so they have to have other ways to bring in revenue. That's where lootboxes and different editions of games come in. As far as driving physics go on Payback, the "always drift" aspect of it is annoying but it's not a huge setback for me.
As far as the physics go, when I mentioned that the new ones should follow the same model as the previous best selling ones, I figured I didn't need to point that out since I mentioned the future ones should be like the previous ones. I'm not saying carbon copies, just follow the same model. UG2 was best in terms of gameplay (physics included), and customization. MW (05) followed the same model but was improved upon. The only real difference was the blacklist, performance and visual customization, cars (obviously) and it was daytime. Both amazing games and both games that the future ones need to be based off of.

You had authenticated your game to the Denuvo servers, so you don't need to be connected to the internet right after you did that.
After a few days pass, you will need to authenticate your game again to the Denuvo servers or you won't be able to play.
Here's a video about Periodic Activation of Always-Online DRM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiwnnbrV0d8&t=184s
Just watch the first 3 minutes.

Did you know loot boxes in video games are frowned upon by the sane part of the gaming community?
There are a lot and a lot of YouTube videos discussing about loot boxes and how it's very detrimental to the gaming industry.
People don't want to gamble in video games. They want to buy things that are 100% guaranteed to be given to them upon purchase.
DLCs and expansions are 100% guaranteed to be given if purchased. Useful loot box goodies are NOT 100% guaranteed.
By the way, God of War and Spider-Man for PS4 both sold really really well in 2018. And both of them don't have loot boxes in the games.
Casinos exist for the sole purpose of gambling. It shouldn't had made its way to video games.

Its simple IMHO and keep in mind this is a huge NFS fan saying this, the next one will be in the same state as the last 2 i bet everything on it. Look Its has come to a point were cost have risen and bottom lines rule the final decisions so no matter how bad we want these things in the next NFS its not going to happen. Only time we will see any of our suggestion in game is if some suit guy in accounting feels that it will generate a dollar value. I get that games have to make money don't get me wrong but how hard is it to conclude that if tons of people are willing to PAY MONEY for something then just make it !! . Why is it always what they think will sell that ends up as final product instead of what tons of people want. No one can please 100% of every one but wouldn't it make sense to please 80 of the buyers instead of aggravating them with what thy don't want and losing it all . Listen if I go to a restaurant and ask for soup and keep getting a salad i can tell you after a few times its over and done with and they wont hear from me again. Selling people what they want should not be rocket science jeez !! ☹️

Sadly your right and Always-Online DRM: was created to stop pirates of video games.
However, when its added to a game by the creator as the video pointed out, it also in time will stop paying customers too.
This is a bad system for all players, and is very flawed.
I think this is just as bad as Micro transactions in video games!
The consumer loses in the end.
1.) We lose Time
2.) We lose Money.
3.) We lose our games we pay for if we can't get proper authentication from Always-Online DRM.
Thanks for sharing the video and I just wanted to add a few more points to what your shared.
Have a great day! :eahigh_file:
