Need for speed heat Blackscreen

Need for Speed not launching just blackscreen windowed mode I installed it on steam first did not work then I installed on origin through steam still doesn't work when I open the game it is like thi...

It does work if you install on origin through steam so when you have done that go on origin, my game library, NFS heat then press the settings button then repair, wait for it to be done then I'm pretty sure you can launch it successfully every time if not you could try repairing it again. I have not tried launching the game with the shortcut or steam so just launch it with origin
Hopefully this works for you guys because it did for me

Hey @TEXANHER0 make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth to reinstall the GPU drivers for your PC.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Need for Speed: HEAT and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

@EA_Aticit works when you download with origin and through steam but not when you download with steam and through steam if that makes sense. I manage to launch the game sometimes but other times I still get a black screen in windowed and yes all my driver's are up to date, thank you for spending your time on helping me 🙂

what happened mto just downloading a game and playing it. thats all i want to do. who do i contact t get my money back. i had the same problem with Rockstar. why should i have to change all my settings to suit our game. ridiculous
