Need For Speed HEAT Save is only local and not accross different PC's

Ive been playing the game for a while now, I've got 13 hours playtime. I've been playing the game on my desktop at home, but today I had to go somewhere where I could not bring my desktop, how come my progress is linked to the computer itself and not the account. Is there a way to keep my progress on another device at the same time or do I just have to level up on two separate computers????
