Need for Speed Hot Persuit Remastered

Iv brought this game to play on steam on pc but I cant get into the game as it says press space bar symbol to start but nothing happens doesnt even work if i press other keys just keeps playing the i...

Hey there, 

Can you please try to disconnect other USB devices from your PC and keep only the mouse and keyboard to see if you're able to proceed? If that doesn't work, you can try to go to the game’s Steam properties > Controller > set "Use default settings" or "Disable Steam Input" and test again.
