I have tried all your suggestions to no avail. The game worked fine for months until this isssue started. I am guessing it may be an iPad update that has caused the problem, or your cloud server when I play is full. Would a full cloud storage be the problem, and if so, how do I increase the storage?

I am not aware of an issue where your backed-up game would cause issues in the game UI not responding.
Is there possible a separate device we can test your account on?

I have tried all your suggestions to correct this problem. The main menu still does not respond, and I am forced to go through back doors to play races. I would love to buy gold and purchase your items, but the game locks when I try to do it. I’m getting fed up, and frankly will probably quit soon, as it is too frustrating. I have reset my device several times, and the problem persists. Can you reset my account, keeping my progress in the game?
