Do you have it installed on Xbox360 HDD or do you run it from DVD? I've run it from HDD and no prob, but I've found that game sometimes freeze, if you have music selected to random > go to options > audio > and select > sequential . Maybe this can help you .
My game freezes online during the following occurences: I join a speedlist already in progress or I stay in the same lobby for two🏈 speedlists. The other major issue(my opinion) is the mod and mileage "robber". Multiple people(myself included), created a lobby yesterday and drove a combined total of more than 3600mi. Many mods unlocked as well as many license plates. This morning, ALL that mileage, ALL license plates and ALL mods are gone. It is as if yesterday didnt exist. And no update for the 360 has been released. That was game add on only.

Have you done "concours" ?
@To me online works best if I first made "friends game" and from there go "public" > if I fall in middle of speedlist I quit and repeat process 'till I found lobby that is in "intermission" > 8 out of 10 times that works and no problem with freezing @ the end of speedlist .
@I was hopping for some change with last DLC too , but yesterday , I got 2 speedlists (joined @ intermission) ending fine , but in the 3rd I got freezed > so nothing has changed ☹️
I tried making a friends game then going public ONCE. The game froze during the transition. So I dont try that anymore. Also, I too run my game from the HDD. I have concours and I understand that is a big issue. I did all the SP first and when I logged into MP, my SL was almost 69. I was gaming with all foreigners so the concours problem I did not hear about. No one on my friends were on when I hit SL 71 so I passed Concours(mistake2). I am thinking that after this morning tradegy, buying this game was mistake 1).
In my case is just an opposite > I get freezed few times going direct from SP to MP ... Now I'm doing It through "friends game" and no freeze (mostly) . Got my game disc installed on xbox HD too .
