Need for Speed: Most Wanted

I have a purchased game from Best Buy with original activation code. Trying to install and play on new harddrive. Origin says activation code is already in use. Yes, I activated once on original install. Harddrive went bad. Purhased new hard drive. Now I can't even load the game. I just want to play the game I fricken paid for. Game servers are always down and hard to log into. Doesn't Origin, EA, Criterion or whoever the heck runs this stuff have my code on file with my account..Please help me get my code reactivated...yes I uninstalled everything and reinstalled with no luck...
