need for speed not downloading

i decided to download and try out origin for the first time. i noticed that need for speed most wanted was the "on the house" deal. i really want to try it out but for whatever reason i literally just cant download it. every single time i try to download it it just seems to refuse to download. this is the issue i have to deal with right now that is not allowing me to play it: i go to the "free games" section, then i go to "need for speed most wanted", i then click download now and nothing happends, no matter how many times i reset me origin or even computer. i also had a problem verifying my email address for a while but at least i got that working if for some reason that is what was preventing me from getting it. I'm out of ideas, and i want to get that game before it isn't free anymore.

    I've encountered the same issue and already cleared the data cache, restarted computer and tried again (didn't work). I then went and put Origin into R&D mode to see what was what.

    Debug Info showed:

    Install Check Registry Key:

    Missing key-[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA Games\Need for Speed(TM) Most Wanted\Install Dir]

    P.S: I tried to manually add the key but there are no files whatsoever to add it to so the whole directory just isn't existent for some reason.

    I don't know if this would have to do with the same problem but this is all I have to offer with the current problem I am experiencing as well.
