Having same problem but I crash to desktop not to freeze on computer.
Update: I put my CPU back to base clock speeds after a BIOS reset and I have not crashed from making my last post.
So reset your CPU to base clock speeds and check to see if it works

I hadn't played this game in so long (mostly because it keeps crashing) I forgot I had it.
When I cracked it open today for the first time in over a month, I hoped that EA would have sorted this trash out.
They haven't.
Fix this EA.
