NFS Rivals has been updated today and black screen issue is fixed for me. 😕mileyhappy:
Same problem here, however when I play on my TV monitor works perfectly in fullscreen 1920x1080, unlike when I play on plasma tv.

Thank you all for the details provided. We are currently collecting information about the black screen issue while playing in full screen mode.
If this issue is not caused by the resolution then perhaps another program or add-on is interfering. If you want, in the meantime you can try to run a clean boot on your PC: How to Clean Boot your PC.
The Clean Boot process disables many background tasks that may be causing interference.
We will update this thread as soon as more information is available.

I have nailed down the issue of black sceen to:
Since I am running the game on my 46 TV, something that the game does not like to do even with 1920x1080 resolution on both game and setting setup.
I am just running the game in windowed mode at that resolution so it aint realy a big issue, but this should be fixed. I mean the game was designed to run on TV sized screens :/
NOTE: If I switch the HDMI cable back to my normal screen the game will run without any problem on full screen.
This is ridiculous, it's been two months since this games release. After looking round, this isn't Rivals only problem. EA games should really beta test games before their release, as it stands I've paid to beta test this game.

asus crosshair V formula z board
128 gig OCZ vertex 4 SSD drive
Now I do have 3 'screens' attatched to the graphics cards, all screens are set to 1080p @60Hz..
1, samsung synchmate 2450.
2, a 47" 1080p Toshiba TV.
3, an onkyo 7.1 amp - connected via HDMI
Is there a time frame on you releasing a 'fix' for this issue?
Disabling background tasks doesn't work for me either.
