Need For Speed: Rivals - Multiplayer Sync issue

My wife and i both have genuine versions of Rivals purchased on Origin. For somereason when we play multiplayer our games go out of sync and never come back again. For example on my screen her car will suddenly go in to a wall after 5 - 10 secs and then stay there even though on her screen she is driving araound. Her game is running reasonably well on her side so i was thinking its not the 30fps issue. I had a mate test his pc and game on the same network with out a hitch for 5 hours straight.

We are both running win 7 64 bit and tho i have tried the game on 32bit and turning her grpahics right down and all sorts. Please help.

    It wasnt a fire wall but it did lead me to think about a few things... I renabled ipv6 that was disabled a couple years back so an old game would run and hasnt caused an issue since... but since re-enabling on both computers it has made the game function perfectly. Thank you for all the help 🙂

    Yes the test was performed in my home network using a Netgear DGND3700. UPnP is already on nd working on the router and has been checked on both the computers and is also on, using the link you provided. Have tried changing the advertised time and period in UPnP setting on the router. Will get back to you in 24 hours.

  • Still having the same issue. Games go out of sync and dont return.

    @arctype

    So this is not a really common issue so I've talked to one of our specialists.
    According to him, this issue is likely related to the security network configuration in one of the two PCs.

    One of them must have one additional firewall or another security system in comparison to the other computer, which might explain the  'desynchronization'.

    If you can, try to look at the security systems in place in your system. Hope this helps.
