Unfortunately racing wheels are not supported and on PC platforms the Xbox 360 controller and Keyboard are the only supported input devices for Need for Speed Rivals.
This is really very sad!!! I wish I had seen this thread before, **bleep**. I was trying to play Rivals with the G27 and wondering why is the wheel not recognized. And now I can see why. Really, so cheap outsourced programmers that cannot develop a game with a wheel support? Or is management sleeping in a drugs cloud? I hope the support is added asap. Racing game without wheel support is like running a marathon with high heels (maybe some managers by EA have experience with it)
lol, so there is no wheel support!? in a racing game, really!? i hope this is some oversight on your side by QA or whomever.
if you patch it, please dont forget about the thurstmaster ferrari wheel
