Need for Speed Rivals cannot find game when playing on xbox one.

    Make sure your connection is OPEN NAT.
    in alldrive, it may take 2 or 3 tries to find a public game.
    I set my xbox to stop turning the quick on, then power cycled it, once I did that, had no issues finding public games.

I am having the same issue, the game just sits at the finding a game to join screen for forever and doesn't let me skip and create a local game.

    It has to be on their end. I bypassed the router completely and still have the same issue.

      It is a pretty big issue for me as there doesn't seem to be a way to bypass the option and just have it create a local game.

    Well what you have to do is sign out while the game is still on
