Need For Speed Rivals no sound

Hi,

I recently bought Need For Speed Rivals and the sound don't work. It's pretty useless to play a car game without sound. I have tried to download a sound file and that doesn't work. I don't understand why EA don't patch this problem.. Do anyone have any answer.. Thanks
