Need for speed rivals online issues with EA Origins servers

Unable to connect to the EA servers for multiplayer game play. When I start the game and try to connect to the EA servers I receive the message that I need to be connected to xbox live and EA servers...

    The issue seems to have been resolved for me as I am now able to connect to the EA Origins servers in game and connect with multiplayer. I did not change any settings on my network or console so it seemed to have been an issue with either the EA servers or the Microsoft Xbox servers not allowing the connections.

    I would like to say thank you for your assistance in trying to resolve the issue I was having.

Yes I can confirm that I have a valid Xbox live gold account
