NEED FOR SPEED RIVALS PS4 DIGITAL DOWNLOAD BUT CANNOT ACCELERATE

I JUST DOWNLOADED THE DIGITAL VERSION OF NEED FOR SPEED RIVALS FOR MY PS4 BUT I CANNOT ACCELERATE

Same problem here. I can't believe that an update hasn't been produced yet for such a major bug. The game is unplayable as it is currently with this bug. A racing game where you cannot accelerate your car means no game at all. Tragic. I'm attempting something that one of the other users said, which is to delete the game, reinitiate download from PS store, then immediately delete the update download from the downloads list. I'll find out if it works in about 15 minutes...
