Nobody tried deleting the saved game after making sure its on the internal? Your only deleting it off the hard drive and when it starts loading you will visibly see it re sync with the cloud which is what's fixing it for me most the time. You will lose nothing but likely gain the ability to actually play the game. Where did you file a bug report I'd like to do the same!

Just select the option from the drop down menu. I encourage everyone to do this. Enough reports and maybe possibly just very slightly possible maybe not maybe they will possibly or possibly not maybe kinda do something about it.

I've already done this several times, and I'm sure a lot of other people have tried also, but the fact is EA really doesn't care so I don't think more people filing reports will make a difference. Personally I think our next step should be legal action.

FYI I'll be on in about an hour (10:30p.m EST) to play if anybody would like to join!

How would we go about doing that exactly? I don't exactly have money for legal action lol.

Same here. Just bought the full collection. And this game crashes on start up every time. Need for Speed 2015 and Payback works fine, but rivals is beyond broken !!! I'm really pissed right now !!! I paid for non-functional game. EA needs to fix this asap !!!

Sorry for your loss, but if you look at the very first post you'll see that this problem has been going on since the game first game out in 2013, if they haven't fixed it after 5 years it's a pretty sure sign they won't ever fix it. That being said, there are things you can try to make it work, like disconnect from your internet and play offline, or disconnect from internet and once the game starts reconnect to the internet, or some claim that moving the game from your external HD to the consoles internal HD works sometime, take your pick, gl!
- 7 years agoMine is installed Internally, i don't have a external HDD. Seems offline mode boots up the game. But i also want to play Online. And whenever i click public, it crashes right away. I mean why sell a game if it doesn't work online???

Well there is a way to player with people and thats by doing it in private game heres a couple vids me and xboxbabe did recently
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izMskhuiCsM and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbpUjbF44Ok&t=5s - 7 years agoI used to play this on the PS4 back in 2013. But when i saw it dirt cheap on the Xbox One last Monday, i decided to get it on there as well. 20 bucks for 3 games and all DLC was an amazing deal. I've been wondering though. On what model are you guys playing it on? Since i have the Xbox One X.

I've actually decided to reinstall Rivals on the PS4, just to see if that version has issue's as well. And i was able to hop in a public session without a single crash. So it seems Only the Xbox One version is affected ☹️
- 7 years ago
And you'd think EA would prioritize the Xbox One version to make fixes if it's broken, because they have such a good relationship with Microsoft and with having EA Access. I guess maybe they prioritize Playstation because it brings in more money and players. Money talks !

Having it worked once for you, or anyone else doesn't mean anything try it a few times I'll guarantee you'll crash after playing it a few times., and as I've said previously the issue is across ALL platforms because the issue is with the EA servers. Check out the link below

I have restarted the game multiple times now, and not a single crash, and can instantly play with other people Online.

Just wait, it will crash sooner or later, it always does, lol.

Been playing for over 1 hour now. And have yet to crash. I will report back again when it crashes or not.

Wow, i managed to play Online on the Xbox One, i've read on Reddit that changing region to Uk fixes it. And i've just tested it, and it works !!! Been playing for a while now, and so far no crashing 🙂
Edit: Nevermind it crashed after 15 mins :/ At least i got Online.
PS4 version at the other hand didn't crash at all.

I have the original xbox one and a one S, it crashes on both. Only fix I found is keeping it on internal drives and now that I've installed it on both consoles I have to delete the saved game on the internal on both consoles then whichever console I load up first works fine. After that first sync though it crashes immediately on the other console. I try to click on that link to file a report but it says its no longer available and when I search for rivals I can only find the other game NFS games in the list.
