Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed not loading into first race
I have decided to play Shift 2 and have started fresh. But whenever I try to load into Career mode the game crashes on the loading screen, leaving the game unplayable. I can't even play any gamemode. The only thing I can do is go to the settings and that's it! It's unusual to see an issue like this as older NFS games (prior to Shift 2) haven't done anything like this.

To confirm are we playing on a PC?
If so, can we try the following steps?
- Repair your game via the EA App - Repair (Library > Tile Dots > Repair)
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Close other running applications on your device
- Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Repair or Install the VC++ files for your game (Guide here)
- Check Drivers, Default to High-Performance GPU: Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Restart your device in Clean Boot mode first then try again.
