NFS Rivals, with all it shortcoming was the most fun and entertaining racing game I have ever played. Once you finish the game (which was far too easy), you are correct, it's pretty boring and routine. I'm not a big fan of story lines and watching videos of people and characters.. just give me an awesome racing game that entertains without all that other stuff. Rivals was that game for me! Loved the cop career, loved the racing career, love the idea that you can switch back and forth AND with a minimal story line. Best game... there needs to be a sequel! I think EA are putting too much into Payback which doesn't seem appealing to me at all after playing Rivals. I have other NSF games but nothing comes close to Rivals. Have I said it enough??? LOL Bring on the sequel and give us new roads, a longer shelf live to complete (rivals was far to easy to complete), new cars, make it fun again EA!
