I agree with you. It would be nice to be able to buy Need For Speed Underground again.
Maybe EA could make a remastered version to PC, PS4 and Xbox One X.

@SebForTheWin It probably depends on the licensing. For how long they've got it and so on. A lot of the tuner shops presented in the game went down, sadly, so they can't relicense those in case they did not have the license for a lot of time. Toyota doesn't allow their cars to be represented in the game (and they are not the only one). Lots of thintgs happened since.
But, yeah it would be nice to have a few of the old NFS games remastered (my obvious choices being Porsche Unleashed, the Underground games and the original Most Wanted).
If EA doesn't have the licenses anymore, then we probably won't see them ever again. That is how copyright works for now, sadly.
As for buying, you can still find second hand copies at Amazon UK and Amazon US
