need for speed wont go past enter to continue or it wont start at all

Need for speed payback has not gone of to a good start for me first the game started with the enter to continue not working reinstalled the game clean rebooted and it worked for a while the game ran ...

Disconnect the two secondary monitors, leaving just your main monitor connected
Install any available Windows Updates
Temporarily disable your antivirus software
Perform a clean boot before starting the game: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Is your video card factory or otherwise overclocked?
