Its now March 4, 2022 and no one from ea has responded to this thread. I have fond playing nfs on the 360 with no internet connectivity. Why does a game like this not have a solo story mode aside from multiplayer. imo all nfs titles should have this. I'm honestly tired of this bs for the same reasons everyone else has mentioned in this thread. I think its about time to whip out that old work horse and throw a few more hours on it. I really like the racing in the 2015 version specifically because it really reminds me of NFS carbon. A title that's not even offered on steam or online anywhere unless you want a dmca for a game that is 16yo. Why nfs gotta be an EA title. They obviously dont care about the communities even reporting most likely a bug in their maintenance schedule. Or they just dont care enough to address the issue. Like I get it it's a 6yo game, but I feel like this is such an insignificant issue that is ruining my play through of a title I enjoy.
TLDR:
EA doesnt care about its community. 6 months and still no word from EA about the "maintenance" frequency. My only guess is the "maintenance" is just a way to purge servers that are only filled with bots and afk players to make sure there is room for actual players to join. Why have random bots in the game in the first place? I swear if I'm in a game i only see 1-3 actual players myself included.
EA we are waiting for you to get your * together. This is not a server connection issue. This is a your game is broken so stop all the maintenance or have them at set times. Not one every 45min to an hour. Like * dawg.
It is now November of 2024 and I am still having a problem with the servers frequently going down for "maintenance". I know it's not my PS4 or internet connection. I have one of the best internet providers in the state of Michigan. Need for Speed (2015) is the ONLY game giving me problems of staying connected to a server. And now as soon as a warning message pops up for a shut down in 30 min it actually kicks me off the server right then and there. This issue has been going on for a couple of years now. With the technology that's out there now days this issue should have been resolved by now. For christ sake let AI do the job i guess since human beings at EA HQ are obviously F****** * and don't know how to properly do their jobs.
