NFS heat can't join crews at all

I've been playing this game since release, and for a while, i had a normal playthrough on the ps4, without any problems, but since I bought the game o steam and started playing at my desktop, it seems like after i left my starter crew, i can't neither create or join one ever since (some colleagues also have the same problem), I've tried many things but none of them worked and I'm feeling helpless because without a crew, I have a lesser quality time playing the game and also I'm unable to access all its content. I rather doubt if this is possible to fix but I'm ranting abt it anyway :P.
