NFS Heat is installed, origin says not installed

I downloaded the game, it finished downloading, said finalizing, then it said COMPLETE. When I try to launch the game it says Install instead of Play. When I press Install it just says downloading for a few seconds and stops, saying completed, and this repeats over and over again. I tried to restore backup, tried locating the game, tried copying the game to the folder then downloading it, ran with admin rights, reinstalled the game and Origin. I deleted Origin cache and the data from %appdata% as well. It's still the same. How can I launch my game?

I added some screenshot so you guys can check it out.

  • @ArchilusIV I fixed this problem by installing the game on my SSD, or I should say on my internal drive. The problem was installing the game on my external HDD. When I installed the game in my internal drive it showed the Play button and I was able to launch the game. Anyone encountering this problem, installing on internal drive may fix it.

  • 1) Regedit (open as administrator)
    2) Navigate to: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA Games\Need for Speed Heat
    3) Edit the key "Install Dir" to the current installation path of the game
    4) Profit
