NFS Heat not detecting Logitech G920 Wheel

I am playing NFS Heat in Steam. I used to be able to use my Logitech G920 to play it, but for some reason unknown to me it stopped detecting the wheel. The strange thing is that another game, also in Steam, is able to detect the same wheel.

I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling the game, Logitech G Hub, Logitech Gaming Software, but none has worked for me.

The only way that I am able to play the game with a wheel is if I use the administrator account of my laptop.. Hopefully someone can provide a proper fix.

    Have you found some fix? I've tried to run the steam game as administrator, also using the EA app directly, but with no success.

    Do you start windows with an administrator account in order to play it?

    Unfortunately, I haven't found a clean solution yet. I'm considering to get a clean reinstall of Windows, but I've been putting it off since I find it a hassle - I'll update this post once/if I get to it.. As for your 2nd question: yes, I start Windows with an admin account.
