NFS Heat PC - Infinite Loading Screen

I can't get the game to launch, it gets stuck on the loading screen when the bar reaches 100%. After scouring the internet it seems to be a very common issue but with no fix I could find. I tried turning off the Origin in-game overlay, but the game is still not working.

I've just reinstalled the game and forgot this was the issue why I uninstalled it in the first place. It's really sad to see there's no easy-to-find fix. I purchased a game I can't even play. :/

    I fixed it myself by switching from fullscreen to windowed.

    Now I'm just getting a black screen when I launch the game. I can always hear my CPU revving hot with this game. 

    I may as well ask for a refund at this stage as EA are happily releasing unplayable games and don't care enough to fix them.

    Hey, @V_M_G  make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth reinstalling the GPU drivers for your PC.

     

    You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with HEAT and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

     

    Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

    in 2023. It's still happening.  it's almost 2024.
    There is no exact solution on internet or even on official forum.
    Changing window mode doesn't work for me.
    Also there is audio issue.
    How the hell u allowed to sell this *.

    It ought to be a crime for an alleged support agent (we all know it's actually just a low-tech community manager) to tell people to waste their time installing a bunch of Windows and video drivers on a stable system, as a "solution" to a bug-ridden piece of software.

    For shame.
