nfs Heat PC g29 not detected

Hi, I just bought nfs heat. After installing and loading the game I noticed my g29 isn't being detected/recognized by the game. I have logitech G HUB installed and it has the latest update. The game works fine with keyboard and mouse or my xbox one controller. I've restarted the pc, disconnected and reconnected the wheel, disconnected the xbox controller but still nothing.

The wheel works fine in every other game.

Is there a way for me to manually set the wheel to be default for nfs heat? are there any known solutions for this?

I've read on the forums, google and youtube. Every solution seems to be update drivers/software which I already have.

Edit: If I disconnect the wheel and reconnect it while the game is running it crashes. No error report, just freezes. I have to altF4 out.

Thanks

  • I have the exact same problem.

    Logitech G29 Wheel with Shifter

    Updated Logitech GHub

Game will not start if the controller is plugged in (freezes at around 360MB RAM in the windowed screen)

If I plug out the controller I can launch the game, but the moment I plug it in it freezes.

If I close GHub then the game loads fine, but I cannot use the controller.

  • @avanderw I have exactly the same problem as you, even the RAM usage is basically the same. Has there been any problem-solving update on this?
