NFS Heat Performance Level Broken?

First of all I have to say that I so gar really enjoy NFS Heat. But In have issues with the Performance Level of the Cars and the Cars Automatic Transmission. For example: In the Steeldragon Event ...

@Grantelb4rt I’m having the same exact issue I have a car rated at 233 and I’m doing a race that’s rated at 180 and I cannot win this race to save my life

    @coldhard_kash Can you provide a race name and a car? I am just curious and would like to have a go.

      I’ve beaten the race since, but progressing the story mode by doing story missions seems to have helped me with this
