Can we try the following steps first and then check if this continues?
- Repair your game via the EA App - Repair (Library > Tile Dots > Repair)
- Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates

So far I have done steps 2-4. For step 1, I don't seem to be able to see the Repair function under the Library/Tile Dots section. I will test to see if the steps 2-4 helps for now. Thank you 🙂

It’s not working. It didn’t save my progress again and started me back from the very beginning

Apologies for Steam is will be under the manage option, Verify the game in via your Steam library
Have you tried running as an admin? If so, can you try to delete the save folder, verify once more and check if this continues?

I’ve already tried verifying the files on Steam but to no avail. I have tried locating the save file before but I cannot seem to find it in the common directories being listed by other players online. Is it in the steamapps folder?
