I just tried to play nfs heat for the first time in 2 months and it won’t let me access my saved file. It’s says “ if you continue, your save file will be upgraded and you might not be able to load your progression with an earlier version of the game. If you choose to revert to an earlier version of the game, you will need to manually delete your save file in order to play.” Does anyone know what this means?

Since you have been away for 2 months there was another update to the game.
The game is asking you if you want to keep your old files or advance with the new updated files.
If you choose to Advance you will have the new updated version of the game which will overwrite your old files.
If you choose to revert it means you would have to delete the new files on record to get the older version of what you had before.
