NFS Hot Pursuit Remaster Console 2 player mode?
Hey are they finally going to allow 2 player console? Where one player can be the cop and the other player can drive get away?

@Jakob360 Yeah it was split screen on Hot Pursuit 1 and 2, but those games was about racing on tracks. This game is in a open world setting, like most of the BX games. I think thats the reason why there are no split screen, plus Criterion dident even add split screen on Burnout Paradise.
Remember when I got the PS4 and NFS Rivals. I was SOOOO disappointed I couldn't play with my mates.
At the end I got a Wii U and Mario Kart.
Yes, Criterion has really made some of the best racing games for consoles. In my heart shines Burnout 2 and 3. Paradise was a good attempt, but it's just not fun.
Oh, don't forget Blur for PS3 ! Very entertaining.
Too bad EA doesn't see the value of split screen play.
I'm really between two chairs with next gen console. Powerful PS5 or fun Switch (Pro?).
Yes, introvert games like City Skylines, Alien Isolation and NFS series are good entertainment for YOU. But not for your friends. And for me sharing gaming experience is paramount🙂

- @Jakob360 Agree but its easier too just make a online base game these days, since most of us has internet nowadays. In the 90s internet was still a niche and not everybody had that at that time, thats why we had more split screen games then.
It is a shame that Split-Screen won't be making a return, especially for those of us who are not well funded enough to buy multiple units of a console and enough monitors to support them.
I would also add the note that, multiple systems and corresponding monitors and accounts to run them, costs a lot.
360-450 GBP per System
200 GBP per monitor (32" 780p - Decent Brand)
50 GBP per PS+ (or XBOX equivalent)
+Price of Game
So this comes to a total of 600-700 GBP per player, for two players (father and son) that's 1200-1400 GBP out of the bag. Who's got that sort of money? I might, but only though several months of saving up for it (Covid helped with saving money as I'm almost scared to spend it). You can buy a Gaming PC for that amount, especially if you know where to shop for the parts. Though I must admit, the costs for Monitors is the big killer if you don't already have them. In my case, the one I've got is breaking down, so need a new one soon.

On the note of internet, it should be noted that not everyone has the internet even today.

You've got a +1 Vote from me. I agree, playing with people is better than playing alone. I would also agree, the internet and Online play is very depressing. Especially when, like me, you don't have an Internet connection that is even remotely suitable for Online Gaming.
Online Gaming often makes me feel like the bench-warmer since I'm the one with the bad connection. Changed plan recently, paying for a Gbit connection, but still dropping out every 10 minutes. It takes that long to load into a session.
