NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered - Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Support on PC

How do I play NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered with a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller on PC?  I've read through several different support sites but can't seem to make it work.

    @BVBgamer88 Actually, yes you can use a PS controller and a nintendo switch controller for pc. Steam is capable of connecting these controllers as well as xbox. It's just a little harder for ps and Nintendo controllers because you need to set them up unlike the xbox controller where you can just connect it.

@Dryden1984 Because you cant, Nintendo controller and PS controller is not made for use on pc. My advice is get a Xbox One controller, because those are made for use on pc you just need a usb port.
