nfs hot pursuit remastered switch controller support?

Hello' I haven't been able to find a answer to this question. Does need for speed hot pursuit remastered on nintendo switch have gamecube controller support? Some other racing games do because the sw...

@ozm8ey Nintendo Switch controllers will usually work for this game even before gameplay.

      @EA_David Yes, the system will allow you to use a GameCube controller like any other controller, but the system will use it as Pro controller. This means the analogue triggers on the GameCube controller will behave like digital triggers. The only way for games to support the controller is adding a patch to the game. This is what Nintendo did to super Mario 3D all stars in the NOV 16th update.

      Just woundering if this is a feature, and if not does EA have any plans of adding it?
