NFS HOT PURSUIT SERVERS (XBOX 360)

Question

The servers are currently down for this game, with no notice from EA. Hopefully it's just a temporary outage. I've contacted support and they have recognized that they are down and I was told to "wait". Not really reassuring, but the more people reporting this issue, the higher chances are it getting fixed.

This was the response, "I would like to inform you that server is down as of now and I have checked with the team and they confirm that the player need to wait some time."

I'm trying to connect to the servers, but nothing happens.

I know that EA shuts down servers for games that are old, like Mirror's Edge Catalyst (servers will be shut down next month).

I read TrueAchievements to know when support (and servers) will end for which game, but I can't find anything about problems with servers for this game (NFS Hot Pursuit (360)).

Usually EA announce when servers will be shut down for a certain game, and I hope that this is only a problem that can be solved instead of a shadow/without notice server shut down.

How can I know if the servers are still up? I don't want to just log in every day and spent 1 or 2 hours trying to get online for unlocking the last achievements that I need
