NFS most wanted free roam?

ok i have a question im comtiplating getting this game for christmas and it does look very good but i have a question hows the free roam and bigger Q how are the cop chases b/c  thats like what i do ...

But all I get on the map are races. How do u get onto free roaming???

    Just Buy it Crackeds Doesnt have Free Roam
