NFS Most Wanted graphics

Why is there not a better graphic setting than 'high' on this game? The graphics on this same computer running in 'ultra' in The Run seems much better. Running in 'high' is not even stressing my card as far as temp goes. Is there a way to make it look better?

Are you experiencing any specific graphical problems?

If so, please supply information on what you are seeing and where in game.

what are your specs? i'm having trouble getting it to run at a constant 60FPS, i have an ati radeon 6950, 8 core amd, and 8gb ram... it goes at 60fps in some areas but wont stay steady ☹️ really disapointing, even when everythings on low i still can't get it to stay at 60, and it looks way worse on low

Have you updated your drivers? I heard there were issues with AMD drivers and new ones were released last week.

Update your drivers, im running a R6970 with everything maxxed without any fps issues

  • The game uses a different graphics engine then the the does. Sadly Part of the quality of graphics are also due to the size of the game on pc. compared to the run. The run takes up 15GB of storage where Most wanted is only 5GB. Most of that space most likely because the texture quality is not as high. Sadly this means that the game will not look nowhere as good as the run. I was hoping for better quality. especially since this game was sold as the largest nfs map/world it should be larger than 15GB. The other thing I am sad about is the FPS cap at 60FPS its not v-sync, if i force v-sync off in nvidia control panel no change in fps. They must of forgot about players that have 120hz+ displays. Also players with high end machines.

Indeed. I thought it already weird that NFS MW only uses 5-6GB of disk space. I also own Burnout Paradise and that one only uses 3.3GB. Hopefully Criterion will bring a HD update sooner than later because I want my anti-alising to be minimum x8. As of now it feels more like x2 or not at all, at least when it comes to surrondings, its totally off.

A lot of the disc space on the run was taken up by the cinematics and foreign language versions of them, so I wouldn't use install size as the first measurement.
