NFS music

is it just me or did NFS music of old seem like NFS team carefully orchestrated a lead song to draw you into the game. Also the songs had something to do with cars. “Get low” for instance lowering or stancing cars. “Riders on the storm”. Songs that show relevance to vehicles with a swagger. Really lost that personal connection after NFS Carbon. Just listening to snare drums and daft punk style music doesn’t do it for you anymore. Unbound tries to bring the style back but it is overshadowed by some meaningless songs. 
I personally believe this to be a more important factor than many would believe. Almost seemed like back in the day NFS told singers what to sing that is how well matched music was “Need for speed””24s””lean back “born too slow””Tao of the machine””joker and thief”gets you pumped.
