NFS Payback Cannot Connect to EA Server

I'm not an expert with these things but a few months back I had a similar issue with a different game. What fixed it for me was following my friends' advice of changing the DNS settings. I changed the primary DNS to 8.8.4.4 and the secondary DNS to 8.8.8.8. I have no idea how or why it worked, but it did.
- So i was sooo hoping that would work, it did not ☹️ Thank you so much for your input though. I did get a different message though saying "your network is good but there are some xbox service issues." I has been so long i just don't get it. Especially cuz i can play the game just fine.
