NFS PAYBACK NEW TRAILER-MY HIGHLIGHTS

Question

Since the last trailer dropped,i am killing the wait by playing the 2016 reboot but we gotta talk about the highlights of the new trailer that i found most interesting.

Highlights :

#1 NIGHTTIME IS BRIGHTER!

The big issue that i had with the previous game is that the city was too dark and it looked "dead" - Low amount of city lights,no billboards,no urban city atmosphere.

When driving i could barely see where`s a wall and where`s the corner that i`m supposed to drive through and that ends up in terrible crashes with the annoying crash cam!

On the old forums (months ago) i made a tread regarding this situation and i guess i should be thankful to Ghost for listening to a small but big suggestion that made the city night cruising even better than it is.

#2 CAR SPECS ARE BACK!

The first NFS game that properly introduced us with car specs is Pro Street,which is in my top 3 NFS titles.

Back then we had Grip,Drag,Speed and Drift cars.

Now there are differences but i can already see similarities between some of them.

When i look at Speed and Runner,in my head i see high performance,lightweight cars that break the rev limiter.

Grip and Race are cars that can be explained with the same words : Precise steering,advanced tuning and performance for racing.

#3 DIFFERENT TYPES OF CARS

2 door coupe`s,hatchbacks,classics,pickups and sport sedans-everything for everyone`s taste!

#4 RAZORBACK ! WAIT,YOU WOT M8 ???

During the trailer,in the scenes where we can see the classic racing coming back,there could be also SOMEBODY coming back ???

Most Wanted was released back in 2005 and now after 12 years a lot has changed.

As we all know and loved that fact,Clarence Callahan aka Razor was arrested at the end of the career mode but does street racing and causing public property damage with a car go up to 30+ years,i don`t think so in this case.

Here`s why : First thing`s first,Razor is rich and has a connection inside the Rockport PD.How ? Remember when he raises the heat on you to level 5 during the career mode? here`s the answer! Another fact : Razor got your number so he can call you AND in Cross is also a very dirty cop besides from being the chef or the Rockport PD-In Carbon he made 2 deals,even though he was a bounty hunter.

So Razor is probably out of jail either after bribing the cops,paying the debts or he escaped because he was the 1st wanted racer of Rockport!

And after seeing the new trailer for Payback i can only say-GHOST,STOP TEASING AND REVEAL RAZOR`S COMEBACK!

1 Night time might be brighter as the shot is taken in the city. It can be completely dark in the middle of the desert.

2 Cars specs are back , I think thats the first time that specs are in Need For Speed! But , You forgot one ''class''. The Super build. You find car wrecks , Find all of them and then that car gets fixed -> Stock car from there you can Super build it. You might want to search it up abit for more in depth info 🙂

3 I just hope they all feel and drive differently as the last game didnt do that very well in my eyes.

4 The famous guy. Razor. I think you have went a bit far with this one. It can be an easter egg but it can be a small hint at how the game will play. We dont know , Only time will tell 🙂

We dont know , Only time will tell 🙂The superbuild is not another class. let me explain how i understand it the derelics can be ungraded to a superbuild of one of the five classes. superbuild drift, superbuild drag etc. superbuild is just a suped up version of the respective class it is not another class in itselfalso i completely agree with #3 each class should feel different

I know super build isnt really a class of its own. But once you build lets say the Fairlady Z and you decide to go for the Drag Superbuild you cannot undo that.

Only way to ''remove'' that is to buy a new fairlady Z and superbuild a different class. Which in my eyes , Do make it a class of its own as you can only use this car for that and its a ''super build''

You have a limited number of cars that can be super built. But i also agree with your point of view 🙂
