NFS Payback slow acceleration.

i just bought the game through origin for PC and my acceleration is extremely slow. at first i thought it was the pedals on G29 racing wheel, but then i used the keyboard to accelerate and it was exactly the same. i dont think i can ever really reach full throttle. i have played this game on PS4 and dont remember having this issue. is there a way i can fix this????

    @Truninjajosh 

    Check if you have any other input peripherals attached that could be interfering, e.g. Joystick etc.

    @EA_Barry downloaded it yesterday on ps4, slow acceleration is there. anyway to fix that issue? checked both joysticks, checked wired and wireless controllers but still nothing.
