Similar to the previous person, my iMAC is a late 2009 version with a ATI Radeon HD 4850. Tried uploading all the Bootcamp updates, including the Version 5 ones which are not compatable with this machine just to get to the drivers section to install directly into the Windows 7 environment - did not work. None of the 'amd.com' approaches work either as the Catalyst system that AMD uses does not appear capable of overriding the existing driver, which in my case is 11.1 (it wants 13.4). Really would prefer that it did not nanny me like this, and gave me the option to open it anyway with my existing driver version number - is this possible? Other programs that came out this year work fine - eg tomb raider - so not impressed that this program via a version number won't load at all.

Go to the AMD website and download the latest beta drivers for Windows (you must install beta drivers and not the stable release - don't worry they work just fine).
AMD Mobility Catalyst 13.11 Beta9.5 for Windows for mobility drivers and
AMD Catalyst™ 13.11 Beta9.5 for Windows® for regular drivers
Run th exe file and follow the onscreen instructions to complete installation.
The game will then launch. But this will not solve all the problems already reported with the game (no wheel support, poor FPS performance, dropped frames, extreme lag during online game play, etc...)
My recommendation is return the game for a refund, EA has missed the ball big time on this game.

Thanks for your comments jjrcng. However, this is something already tried and it did not work. After all the bootcamp ones didn't work - tried all the versions of catalyst including the betas mentioned, and although it claims to install correctly, and even going to devices manager and trying to install manually as well by not using the catalyst system, it comes back with "your version is up to date" or some such text. Yet the game keeps saying that I only have version 11.1 and that unless I upgrade to 13.4 or higher for the radeon drivers it will not progress to load. Thus, the computer is telling me I am current, but this 3rd party software seems to think it knows more about my computer than the operating system itself. This is the main reason I need a bypass that overrides this block telling me what is good for me and simply load itself.

The installer creates an AMD folder on your C drive. Inside that folder there should be a setup.exe file. Try running that as an Admin. I had a similar issue and had to force the install by running the driver installer outside of the Catylist software. I know it works because I had the same issue and was able to install the beta drivers and test the game before I returned it for a refund (after all the effort to get it to run it turned out the game is total garbage!)
