NFS Rivals anti cheat

I would like to buy Rivals, but before I do, I want to know if the PC version will have any anti cheat system in place?

The last NFS  I bought was Hot Porsuit (the new one) and after two weeks the game was unplayable online because everybody had infinite nitrous, and infinite spike strips, emps, etc.

    I cannot speak for EA, obviously, but I doubt they will include an anti-cheat system, since well, there never was in any NFS game. (At least none that prevented obvious cheating.)

    They are adamant about the need of DRM to protect their games from piracy, yet they have no intention of protecting their online play?
