This happens mostly because of the Host migration this is your main problem but when that happens you shod get back when it is finished but sometimes you may get kicked from it and that is a bug for now only thing we can do is to wait for the patch sorry there is nothing you can do yourself

This is most likely because of the horrid network solution that they decide to go with. I'm just guessing here, but it's most likely because NFS Rivals uses ports that someone of you have blocked or restricted access too. Try doing it the other way around, you host - he joins. That MAY work out better.
Same here, I need 100.000 sp to complete the assignment, but I lose all the points I won because of this problem...grrrrrrrr
